New VA Pilot Program Supports Caregivers’ Mental Health
The initiative is one of several expected to launch as part of the department’s “Year of the Caregiver.”
As MOAA's Senior Director of Government Relations for Veterans-Wounded Warrior Care, Cmdr. René Campos, USN (Ret), is responsible for directing daily legislative advocacy operations and advising leadership on strategic and operational plans. She manages and develops relationships to advance legislative priorities and the MOAA brand with internal and external stakeholders. She serves as lead expert on VA health care matters, and she advises MOAA’s Government Relations and Health Care Board Committees.
