Military spouses seeking support for their small business – whether it’s been successful for years, struggling to find a foothold in the market, or still on the drawing board – will benefit from a Dec. 11 webinar hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and TEAMS: Transition Employment Assistance for Military Spouses.
The two-hour workshop will cover a range of topics, to include:
- How to secure funding for your small business by finding the right lender and improving your creditworthiness.
- How to maximize your support network by reaching out to a number of programs, such as Veterans Business Outreach Centers, Small Business Development Centers, mentorship programs, and more.
- An overview of the federal contracting process.
- A look at service-connected resources available to military spouses, such as the Boots to Business program, which offers support at multiple stages of the entrepreneurship journey.
