Las Vegas might be the nation’s top entertainment destination, but with high prices for hotels, meals, and activities, you better have deep pockets. We found military discounts to save you money on accommodations and more at some of the top resorts.
The Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas opened in 1971 on the site of the original Las Vegas railroad depot. The Plaza has 1,000 rooms and suites, a classic Vegas showroom, downtown’s only bingo hall, and an 80,000-square-foot casino floor with a Race & Sports book, hundreds of slot machines, and nearly two dozen table games. Outdoor amenities include a rooftop pool and recreation deck with private cabanas, a hot tub, a food truck, a tennis court, and Pickleball courts. MGM Resorts — which include ARIA, Bellagio, Delano Las Vegas, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, MGM Grand, New York-New York, and Vdara — offers military members 10% off room rates, 25% off spa and salon services, and 10% off food and beverages at specified restaurants and bars. Use offer code ZMILTRT when booking online and show ID at check-in.
Sign up for a Caesars Rewards SALUTE card, and you’ll reap an array of benefits and discounts, including 10% hotel discounts (valid at Bally’s Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Harrah’s Las Vegas, NOBU, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Rio, The Cromwell, and The Linq), complimentary parking, special restaurant pricing, presale access for shows, and discounts at casino gift shops. The card is available to all active duty servicemembers, members of the National Guard and Reserve, veterans, and retired military personnel, as well as their spouses.
