With our new Member Spotlight news feature, appearing in all editions of The MOAA Newsletter, on MOAA.org and in the pages of Military Officer magazine, we seek to showcase the efforts of our members and tell your stories.

The Member Spotlight is also new opportunity to share the successes of our state councils and chapters. Working as a team, you are improving your local communities – and we want all MOAA members to read about it.

This week we honor former Army Capt. Thomas Bell, recently named Veteran of the Year for the 72nd Assembly District in California.
