About 150 MOAA members visited the offices of every lawmaker in Congress this week during the Military Officers Association of America's annual Storming the Hill event.
Members called on lawmakers to protect servicemembers' pay and benefits, including those of Chapter 61 retirees who didn't have the chance to finish out their military careers. Events throughout the week also included an awards ceremony for Washington leaders who advocate for the military and a speech by an officer in Congress who urged more veterans to consider running for public office.
