Audience: Commissioned and warrant officers, families, and surviving spouses of the eight uniformed services: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration -- to include members of the National Guard and Reserve -- actively serving as well as retired.

Style: Active voice, non-technical, with direct quotes. Optimistic, upbeat theme. Use The Associated Press Stylebook and Libel Manual.

Length: Features, between 1,000 and 2,000 words.

Payment: Features, 80 cents/word. Payment on acceptance.

Terms: First rights, to include Internet and reprint rights.
