Schofer is a retired Navy physician, practicing weight-inclusive pediatrician, improv comedian, and Founder of Family in Focus®, the movement of embracing and mobilizing emotional health to improve relationships, connection and health for individuals, families and teams. 
 
She hosts the Family in Focus with Wendy Schofer, MD podcast and has presented at national conferences, inviting others to play and explore emotions and values critical for professional success, family well-being and sustainable health at all ages and sizes.
