The TRICARE and FEDVIP open season is fast approaching, set for Nov. 9 through Dec. 14. Are you happy with your current plan? Will you be retiring in the next year and lose your active duty family’s TRICARE Dental Plan (TDP)?
The 2021 pricing schedules should be released in early October. Last year, the average dental plan cost increased by 5.6% and the average vision plan cost went up 1.5%, but in some high-cost areas, premiums increased 9.5%. FEDVIP plan holders should check 2021 prices and decide if a plan or provider change is in order.
