George Reilly has been an attorney for more than 30 years, with much of his career serving the legal needs of sailors, Marines, and their families as a Naval officer in the Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps and later as a civilian attorney for the Navy.
Originally from Long Island, N.Y., he earned his bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College and his law degree from Saint John’s University School of Law. In 1997, George earned a masters in law from George Washington University School of Law with a specialization in income taxation and estate planning.
George is also a Certified Financial Planner™. Although fewer than 5% of all of the CFPs in the U.S. also have a law degree, George recognized the importance of the financial planning process in preparing a comprehensive estate plan and earned this certification to enhance his legal practice. Over the past few years, he has refined this merger of financial and legal planning into the comprehensive Peace of Mind Plan that his firm offers with the goal of ensuring his clients have the critical legal documents and other planning in place if and when unfortunate life events occur.
