… to the Broward County (Fla.) Chapter, whose late member and board chair Lt. Col. Leo R. Gray, USAF, was inducted into the Florida State Veterans Hall of Fame Nov. 27. He is the first veteran from Broward County inducted into the Hall of Fame and the first Tuskegee Airman Red Tail pilot inducted.

… to the South Central Florida Chapter, which teamed up with the local chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America and conducted the Veterans Day ceremony in Highlands County Nov. 10. The chapter is an official DoD commemorative partner for the sliding 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War and was responsible for all aspects of the ceremony.

… to members of the Southwest Virginia Chapter who came together with members of the West Point Society and the Stonewall Jackson Chapter of the Association of the United States Army Oct. 7 to conduct repairs on the home of a veteran in Iron Gate, Va. The volunteers removed and replaced a front and back porch, one of which included a wheelchair ramp.

… to the Green Valley (Ariz.) Chapter, which sponsored a Toys for Tots collection for disadvantaged youth in the Tucson area. Many members donated gifts, including dolls, trucks, action toys, and a bicycle. In addition, the chapter donated $205 so Marines could purchase other necessary items for the children.
