Melissa Anderson is a proud active-duty Army spouse and currently serves as the Fort Campbell Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Executive Director, managing operational services and developing/hosting events aligned with the mission to Educate, Inform, Connect. In her most recent professional position, she facilitated virtual training and career counseling services for military spouses and veterans seeking remote employment.
She has a Master of Arts in Training and Development from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Behavior from Rollins College.
Melissa has been recognized with the Bronze President’s Volunteer Service Award annually since 2019 for dedicating 100+ volunteer hours to military families, the US Field Artillery Association Artillery Order of Molly Pitcher medallion, and twice with the Commander’s Award of Public Service. She is an active volunteer with Blue Star Families and Treasurer for Operation Frontline Families, a non-profit supporting the families of military, veterans, and first responders.
Melissa grew up in Apopka, Florida, and enjoys everything associated with books, reading, and learning.
