One Military Spouse’s Professional Journey: Keeping a Career on the Move
A member of MOAA’s Currently Serving Spouse Advisory Council shares her story.
Jennifer Brill Robinson is an expert in entrepreneur development and as a Registered Principal, has deep experience mentoring teams in financial services management.
As a Marine Corps spouse, Jennifer learned to adapt and overcome. She continued building her business during military transfers around the country, and now serves clients in six states.
Prior to her financial services career, Jennifer enjoyed serving prominent non-profits including Catholic Relief Services and the American Red Cross. Her service to the International Catholic Migration Commission included managing communications in two refugee camps in Macedonia and Croatia during the 1999 Bosnian conflict. She served on the faculty at Rowan University, where she taught composition and professional editing of non-fiction.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rutgers University and a Master of Arts in Writing from Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
A New Jersey native, Jennifer lives in Alexandria, Va., with her husband and three children. She is currently editing three children’s stories and is an avid follower of her children’s basketball games.
