Lt. Gen. John F. Regni, USAF (Ret) retired from the Air Force in 2009. He is a 1973 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., and holds a Master of Science in systems management. He has held key positions in the Air Force, including superintendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy and director, personnel resources, headquarters, U.S. Air Force.

Regni has been involved in a variety of nonprofit organizations and corporate boards, and founded the JFR Group LLC, a strategic planning consulting group.
