Gen. David G. Perkins, USA (Ret)

Gen. David G. Perkins, USA (Ret), graduated in 1980 from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. He earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in national security and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College.

 

During his career he commanded at every echelon in the Army from company command through major Army command, to include multiple combat tours. His final assignment was as commander, Army Training and Doctrine Command, where he was responsible for designing and establishing the requirements for the future Army.

 

Perkins currently sits on various corporate boards and routinely takes part in multiple leader development activities for both military and civilian organizations.
