Col. Charles W. Sachs, USAF (Ret)

Col. Charles W. Sachs, USAF (Ret), commissioned into the Air Force upon graduation from the Virginia Military Institute with a bachelor of arts degree in Economics. He also holds a juris doctor from the Creighton University School of Law and a master of strategic studies from the Army War College.

 

During his 25-year military career, he served in a variety of leadership assignments, including J6 director of communications, Multi-National Security Transition Command, in Iraq and deputy director, Air Force Irregular Warfare Requirements. After retiring, he held executive and leadership roles at Bank of America, Harland Clarke Holdings Corporation, and USAA, focusing on risk management, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.

 

He currently advises Texas Rep. Chip Roy on national security and veterans affairs issues, and serves on the Virginia Military Institute Alumni Association board of directors. He resides in Southlake, Texas.
