Mission

To foster fraternal relations among retired, active duty, reserve component, and former officers of America’s uniformed services and to protect the rights and interests of all members of the uniformed services and their families and survivors.

Information on Joining the Chapter

Membership is open to active duty, National Guard, Reserve, retired, and former commissioned officers and warrant officers of the following uniformed services: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Surviving spouses of deceased officers are also eligible for membership.

Chapter Activities

The White River Chapter participates in local school programs that promote an understanding and appreciation of the role of the US military during major wars and conflicts. The Chapter is also represented at annual Veterans Day and Memorial Day events.

Legislative Issues

The Chapter recognizes that legislative matters concerning the military community are of vital interest to our members. As a result, the Chapter takes an active role in working with the U. S. Congress and the State Legislature on legislative programs affecting all active, reserve, and retired members of the Uniformed Services.  The Chapter Legislative Chair also sends out emails updating members on a periodic basis.
