Mission

The mission of the Central Utah Chapter is to benefit the members of the uniformed services, their families and survivors and to advocate for a strong national defense, while providing needed support to its members and local communities.

Information on Joining the Chapter

Membership in the Central Utah Chapter is open to anyone who holds or has ever held a commission or warrant in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and their surviving spouses. We invite all eligible persons in these categories to join us in furthering the traditions of our military services, and carrying out the mission of our chapter.

Chapter Activities

The Central Utah Chapter holds several meetings a year. Guest speakers address our members and guests on relevant topics. In addition, the chapter supports ROTC programs at Brigham Young University, and the annual Veterans’ Day observance held by the City of Provo.

Legislative Issues

The Central Utah Chapter supports the MOAA national legislative agenda and we annually invite our congressional representative and senators to speak to the chapter. The chapter is also active in supporting the state council in various state veterans' issues.

About Our Chapter

The Central Utah Chapter was chartered in 1992 and serves members from Point of the Mountain south to Cedar City. Meetings are held in various locations as announced. The chapter publishes a bi-monthly newsletter. The chapter currently has approximately 150 members made up of currently serving, former, and retired officers and their survivors.
