The MOAA Fact Sheets were initially designed for use by MOAA Council and Chapter presidents, legislative chairmen, and as a reference for all Chapter members for their own information and to help communicate the issues to their legislators. Their purpose is to further develop and strengthen MOAA's legislative activities at every level as well as:
- Build effective state and local legislative programs;
- Increase legislative participation by all MOAA members; and
- Foster effective communications between MOAA Council and Chapter leaders and the MOAA national Government Relations Department.
