About Our Chapter

In 1963, the Fort Campbell Chapter of the Retired Officers Association was formed through the efforts of a small group of dedicated retired officer. At the first meeting, 25-30 retired officers attended and at the second meeting, an independent club was formed. The primary purpose at that time was to fraternal relationships among retired officers of all branches of the military to include the Geodetic Survey and Public Health Services. The second purpose was to support actions that were in the best interest of members of the club as retired officers and as members of the community. Due to membership increase, on Oct. 1, 1971, the Fort Campbell Chapter joined the National retired officers Association. The Fort Campbell Chapter is currently a member of both the Tennessee and Kentucky Council of Chapters. Membership comes from the retiree living within 50 miles of Fort Campbell, both in Tennessee as well as member that retain their membership but have relocated because of duty or
