MOAA has an office on the Pentagon Concourse within Pentagon Federal Credit Union. All MOAA services are available at this location.
MOAA's Pentagon office provides total career transition advice/counseling (to include résumé critique) and referrals to appropriate MOAA staff for financial and benefits counseling to officers stationed in the Pentagon or passing through.
In addition to providing services in the office, MOAA also hosts monthly presentations in Room BH650 (next to the Pentagon Athletic Center) on topics such as career transitioning, financial planning, and current military issues. These sessions are presented by subject matter experts.
MOAA members who stop by the Pentagon office also can receive:
- a FREE MOAA pocket knife;
- career transition advice and resources, including access to a members-only job bank featuring employers looking for military-specific skills;
- military benefits counseling, including guidance on TRICARE, retired pay, the Survivor Benefit Plan, Social Security, and much more;
- information and applications for scholarships and no-interest loans for the children of servicemembers that are available through The Scholarship Fund of MOAA;
- financial planning materials;
- legislative updates and tools to help grassroots activists;
- information about TRICARE supplements, life insurance, and resources for selecting the appropriate long-term care insurance;
- a copy of MOAA's award-winning magazines Military Officer ;
- details on upcoming MOAA seminars in the Pentagon.
The MOAA Pentagon office is collocated with the Pentagon Federal Credit Union on the second floor, A Ring, between corridors 9 & 10. From the Pentagon Metro entrance, go to the second floor and follow the signs to Ramps 3, 4 & 5. The Pentagon Federal Credit Union and MOAA office are located at the foot of the ramps. You may talk to our representatives by stopping by any time Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Members also may call (703) 769-8914 to schedule an appointment in advance with one of MOAA's experts.
